| Voices for Children/CASA of Southeast Missouri | Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) | Make a real difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in our community by volunteering with us. Voices for Children CASA of Southeast Missouri has opportunities for volunteers to contribute their time by advocating and mentoring children in foster care. CASA Volunteers are the voice of these children and will meet with their child/children regularly to report progress. CASA Volunteers receive 30 hours of training before service, become officers of the court, and advocate for abused and neglected children. Each year, CASA Volunteers are required to complete 12 additional training hours. Before training, all volunteers will undergo an application and screening process. |
